This will be the 15th Anniversary of Ghost, Ghouls and Goblins!  This is also the Barony's Champion Event for all Archery, Fencing, Thrown Weapons, Fighting, A&S, and Bardic, all competitions will be a challenge worthy of celebrating the last 15 years of Ghost Ghouls and Goblins!

Archery - Master Rupert the Unbalanced is hard at working creating a novelty shoot worthy of the 15th anniversary!  So come test your skill against his diabolical shoots (and lots of arrows)!  This activity begins at 10:30AM.  This shoot is usually several hours, it is recommended to come early to ensure enough time.
There will be a night woods walk shoot which will begin 30 minutes after feast, weather permitting, this is even better then shooting pumkins in the dark!!  Night shoot will take about an hour to complete.  Protect the Barony from things that go bump in the night!

A&S - A&S champions competition Gargoyles and Dragons!  Come show your work at our Arts and Science display.  You can enter the competition to become the next Baronial Champion.  Documentation is nice, but not required.  Good Luck.  There is also the Autocrats challenge of a Ghost, Ghouls and Goblins theme.  Judging will be completed by by 3:30 all submissions must be in by noon.

Bards - Come sing or play your instruments lure the mighty ghouls into submission with your sweet music for our mighty warriors may defeat the Ghouls!  Then sing of victory of the brave warriors that protected this mighty Barony!  Bardic Champion is at 3:00

Fencing - Don Pascual de la Mar, will be creating a fencing tourney, not to be outdone by the Archers there will also be a night tourney after feast slash the beasties that dare threaten our fine Barony!
10:30 Rapier Champion tourney:
A standard slippery slope Tournament:
Each combatant begins with Single Rapier.  First death you move to defensive secondary (Buckler, Stick, Cloak, etc...) Second death you move to offensive secondary (Dagger or Case)
Third death you're out.  Double kills re-fought once, after that dead is dead. 
Finals are best of five, non-matching forms

Fighting - Raise those weapons protect the Barony of Carillion against the scary beasts of the night and fight for the honor of Carillion! 
12:30 Rattan Champion Tourney:
75 minute bear pit Tournament
# of Combatants will determine # of pits.  (1 to 8 = 1 pit, 9 to 16 = 2 pits, etc..  etc..)
Winner will be the one with the most points at the end of the 75 minutes. 
Points will be earned by the winner, based on the form they win with.
Each form will be worth 1, 2, or 3 points (Ghosts, Ghouls, Goblins).  Values for Each form will be selected at start of tourney by random draw.

Thrown Weapons - stand with your brothers and sisters to vanquish the foes that doth spin merrily teasing our brave warriors, defeat the spinning ghoul and claim victory!

Youth of the Barony come out and create disguises and other trickery to fool the silly scary beasts so the warriors have a chance to defend the Barony!  Youth activities see below.

All hands are needed in to deafeat the Ghost, Ghouls and Goblins that threaten to invade the Barony of Carillion and the neighboring Baronies beyond!  We will need Merchants to replenish our resources, classes to teach the destruction of our foes, and the populace to support all our brave people who doth defend us against fiends.

A full listing of activities and times will be posted at Troll.  Feast is planned for 5:30 to accomodate evening activities. 

Baronial Court will start between 4pm and 4:30pm

Cabin rentals are communal and please bring your own bedding.  Driving to the cabins or camping area is not permitted.  Wheel barrows are provided to move your belongings from the parking which is about 100yds away.

Fires permitted in firepits only.

Light breakfast will be available for purchase Saturday and Sunday for a small fee.

Only service animals are permitted on site.

Quail Hill is located in Manalapan Township in western Monmouth County.

From the shore:  Take NJ Route 33 west from Freehold (U.S.  Route 9) six miles to County Route 527A (Iron Ore Rd.).  Turn right (north) and proceed 1/2 mile to LaValley Drive.  Turn right again and follow LaValley Drive 1/2 mile to the gate.

From the NJ Turnpike:  Exit #8 from the turnpike to Route 33 east.  Proceed east 6 miles to Route 527A.  Take the jughandle and proceed north as described above

Youth Point will open at 12:30pm and close at 4pm.

12:30 – 1:20 Making Masques
Recommended ages:  3+, with parental/guardian hands on assistance for those ages 8 and under

Join us in creating fanciful masques to celebrate the season.  We will decorate cardstock cut out masques with glitter, sequins, gems, feathers, and stickers.  Choose from masques on sticks to hold up to your face or masques with ribbon to tie around your head. 

1:30 – 2:20 Making Hand Puppets
Recommended ages:  3+, with parental/guardian hands on assistance for those ages 8 and under

Join us in creating imaginative hand puppets.  Each participant will get to choose a puppet body to decorate in whatever way their imaginations lead them.  We will have buttons, yarn, poofy balls, and other assorted items to bring your puppet to life.  If any participant under the age of 10 wants to use a needle and thread to attach pieces to the puppet, we recommend a parent assist with this.  We will have glue dots and fabric glue for those too young to work with needle and thread to attach their puppet parts.

2:30 – 3:45 Pumpkin Carving
Recommended ages:  5+, with parental/guardian hands on assistance for those ages 12 and under

Join us in creating jack-o-lanterns.  It is strongly recommended that a parent/guardian work with each participant 12 years of age and younger to avoid injury and is required for any participant ages 8 and under.
