Event details
The Shire of Lyndhaven will hold its annual Spring Schola and Warcamp at a new location this year!  The Yoho Lake Scout Reserve has allowed us the use of both wings of their main hall along with all of the grounds adjacent to the lake.  The lake is lovely, but is also off site.  There will not be any lifeguards on duty.

There will be some lawn space next to the lodge for those who would like to camp for the weekend.  The only fires allowed outdoors will be in the shared fire pit located near the lake.

We'll be offering a War Camp, so there will be War Points for each of the following four combat arts:
Do you like heavy combat? Get ready for another fun-filled day complete with the traditional bouzkachi match, melee practice, and more!
Do you like fencing? We've got that too!
Do you like archery? String your bows and take aim!
Do you like thrown weapons? Ready, aim, throw!!

Do you like A&S classes? We're once again offering the Spring Schola as part of Middleground.  We'll have many classes in diverse subjects.  Please contact the schola coordinator if you wish to offer a class!  Those who teach a class get to contribute towards the Schola War Point!

On Saturday night, we will once again be holding a musical tavern night!  Those who wish to perform are encouraged to contact the event steward to make sure everyone gets a chance to share their talents!  The best performance, as judged by applause, will earn the Bardic War Point!

Do you like to EAT? We will have a dayboard for Saturday's lunch, included in the site fee.

This year we'll be offering a feast on Saturday evening!  Those who wish to partake in this culinary delight will need to pre-pay their reservation, with a deadline for receipt of payment of Monday, May 6th.

On Saturday morning, our volunteers will be organizing a breakfast fundraiser, with proceeds going towards the Tir Mara Royal Travel Fund.  Please consider partaking!

Off-board attendees do not need to pre-register, but if you are seeking indoor accommodations at the site, please contact the event steward.  The lodge has dormitory-style accommodations in five large rooms, with two of those rooms accessible for persons with ambulatory disabilities.  These is also an accessible bathroom directly off the main hall.  We also want to ensure each family with minors can stay in the same room.

The site is discreetly damp.  Please take care of all of your bottles, caps, and corks.

The only animals allowed at the event are service animals.

Site Opens: 12 pm, Friday May 17th
Site Closes: 12 pm, Sunday May 19th
