Please join us for our first Winter Bardic Competition and Feast! There will be music and merriment, a silent auction, and a lovely meal!
Scrolls will be awarded to the winners of the bardic competition, as well as for the best table setting at the event.

Winter Bardic Feast
First Remove:
Wassail served warm
Quiche of winter spinach
A salad of carrots with a honey orange glaze
Breads with honeyed butter
Second Remove:
Venison or Mushroom stew served in a dark bread bowl*
Roasted cabbage with bacon, in a mustard sauce.
Third Remove:
Roasted Quails with butter and thyme served with a spiced cherry sauce on the side
A savory dish of apples and onions with saffron
Basmati rice with onions, pease and smoked paprika
Fourth Remove:
Cheddar cheese served with honey and breads
Candied almonds
Pears poached in wine
*A choice of venison or mushroom stew must be made at reservation.

From the South:
Make best way to I-95 north into Delaware. Take exit 109B for Maryland 279 S towards Newark, DE. Keep left at the fork towards Maryland 279/ E. Elkton Rd. Keep right at the fork and merge onto MD-279/ Elkton Rd. Enter into Delaware. Turn right onto W. Park Place. Make the first right onto Willa Rd. UUFN will be on the left.
From the North:
Make best way to I-95 south into Delaware. Merge into I-95 south. Take Exit 1B for Rt.896 north towards Newark. Make a slight right at College Ave/DE 896 N. Continue to follow S. College Ave. Turn left at W. Park Place. Turn left at Willa Rd. UUFN will be on the left.
OVERFLOW PARKING:
If the parking in front is full when you arrive, There is parking on one side of Willa Road (the side opposite the church), and the public is allowed to park in the elementary school parking lot a little way down the block |
