The Barony Of Settmour Swamp welcomes one and all to a weekend of camping, questing, and competition.  This year we promise to have a burning hot event, but no worries, we are located on a firemen's field after all.

Over the weekend we will engage in competitions for our new Baronial Champions.  For those adept in battle, Heavy weapons, Thrown weapons and Archery are scheduled for Saturday, with Fencing on Sunday.  For the equally impressive craftspeople, we will have A&S on Saturday and Brewing competition on Sunday.  For those under 18 there will be youth fighting.

After a long day of events we will be having a great feast on Saturday evening prepared by lord Riordan.  With the theme this year you could say well be having a hell's kitchen, [but we promise - not too much yelling.] The feast will be limited to 100 gentles so we ask you to please reserve early.  After the feast we challenge you to join us at the fire pit and entertain us with your songs and stories so that we may choose a Bardic Champion.

Questers:  We challenge you to join us as we follow Dante's travels through the nine circles of hell.  Marvel at the mythological creatures and 14th century Florentine sinners.  Abandon all hope, ye who enter this Quest!!!  The Quest will start at 1 PM on Sunday.  Children teams are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent.  Quest written by Lady Elisabetta de Roma.  After the Quest our Baron Alexander MacGregor and Baroness Rhiannon de Carreg Cennen will be hold a Baronial Court where our new champions will be presented.

Children are most welcome and there will be many activities in which they may participate.  However, we ask that you supervise your children at all times.  Anyone under the age of eighteen not with a parent must be accompanied by an adult and must present a consent form signed by the parent which lists the parent's contact information.  If a minor does not have a blue membership card a minor's waiver must be signed by the parent / guardian and presented at Troll.  Copies of said waiver will be available at Troll.

The camping area will be open from 4PM Friday until 11:30 Monday.  Anyone on site before or after those times will be considered volunteers for set up and clean up - thank you in advance.  It is a damp site which means beer, wine, and mead are permissible, but NO distilled liquor.  Running water is not available on site, so please bring enough bottled water to last throughout the weekend.  Porta-John's and dumpsters for garbage (and bins
for recyclables) will also be provided.  There will be a large central fire pit for socializing.  Pets are welcome as long as they are leashed and cleaned up after.

Reservations should include the following information:
Mundane and SCA Names of ALL persons for whom you are making reservations
Reservation info for each person (Day-trippinng, Camping, Feast, Days you will be attending)
Contact Information (Address, Phone #, Email)
Proof of Membership (Membership # or copy of card)

Reservation Refund Policy:  If, after sending in a reservation, you are unable to attend, please contact the autocrat before the event.  Site fees will be refunded
after the event.  Feast fees will be refunded if we are able to resell your feast space.  Troll will close when the Quest begins on Sunday.  Unclaimed feast reservations will be sold off to a waiting list if there is one Saturday at noon.  If you plan on arriving late, please let the autocrat know. 



Merchants are most welcome and there is no merchant fee.  We do ask that you bring your own tables and PLEASE pre-reg so we can alot you enough space.  There will be an Inn on site and there are several fast food establishments a short distance away.

Directions:
From Route 206:  [Route 206 can be reached from Routes 287 and 22 from the north, and from Routes 95,295,and 195 from the south.
Take Route 206 to County road 514 [Amwell road] in Hillsbourgh NJ.

From the North:  turn right onto Route 514.

From the South, make a left.

Stay on Route 514 for about 8 miles untill you come to a 3-way intersection at a large white Church.  Turn right onto Route 567 [River road].  A mile or so down the road you will see a white girder bridge on the left.  Make a left over the bridge and a right into the site.

From Route 202:
From the North:  Take your best road to Route 202 South [towards Flemington].
Take the left turn on CR629 [aka Pleasent Run road].  Follow this 3.2 miles untill you see the white girder bridge.  Turn right and go over bridge, site on right.

From the South:  Follow 202 North to Neshanic Station turnoff which will be CR 629.  Follow directions as listed above.
