Event details
Come gather the sweet fruit of your joyful spring, young maidens.  Take up your trowels and shoulder your shovels lads, and join the Barony of Settmour Swamp for the thirty-first thawing of the mud at the Salaam Shrine, in Livingston, NJ on March 24th.  Celebrate spring in the Spanish fashion with fighting, fencing, thrown weapons, brewing, dancing and the arts.  Cut and thrust combatants will not want to miss the Spanish Circle tournament.  Youthful laughter will be heard ringing through the hall as activities to captivate the children will be held.  Be sure to bring coin as merchants will be selling their goods.  A fine Spanish feast of the fresh bounty of the season, cooked by Yagyu no Kagetoki, shall round out the days events.

Our Fair and Gracious Baroness of Settmour Swamp Rhiannon de Carreg Cennen will be holding her Fifth annual subtlety contest.  All entries should be presented to Her Excellency at High Table before the feast for judging.  This year's theme will be Primavera to coordinate with the Spanish Spring Feast theme and cuisine of the day.
Extra consideration will be given for theme related entries, tastiness, period ingredients and period methods of execution.
A list of ingredients should accompany each entry and a short description of how it was made would be helpful.
Originality and whimsicality will be looked on with favor as well.
Please check in at Troll for logistics of where to store or assemble your creations.

Arts and Sciences Competition will be run by Mistress Jehannine de Flandres.  The theme will be:  La Primavera.  Please see links for entry form:
