The Shire of Eisental opens their doors for all to come to a day celebrating Eostre, an old Goddess, once worshiped by the old Northern folk during the era of the Vikings. This day will be filled with tournaments for the heavy armed and the rapier.
Tournaments will be as follows:
Inspection at 11AM
Bearskin Tournament- one-handed weapons only, no great weapons, caught on a bear skin.
Vikingsnitt- Blind Mans Bash, blindfolded pillowfight around the prize chest.
Greybeard Tournament- Combatants over the age of 50 only.
Scandinavian Arts and Science Compitition- 12:00-4:00
The Blue Cub Pub will be open for children! Different tastes of root beer will be served chilled!
Children will be welcome to make their own roundshield! Paint supplies will be there for children, or the adults, to enjoy.
Classes-
Nulbinding— bring material if you wish, teacher will have material there as well.
There will be a dayboard available for any who wish. Although there will be no feast... we’re very sorry.
