|Midwinter Revel||Event date: December 15th, 2001|
|Hosted by Barony of Settmour Swamp - Whitehouse Station, NJ|
|Dust off your dancing shoes and join Settmour Swamp for an evening of revelry. Don your finest doublet or gown and chase away the winter gloom. Let no faltering steps deter you: we’ll start the evening with lessons. Gentles less inclined to dance are invited to while away a long winter’s night gaming or sampling an array of sweetmeats. Artists and craftsmen, please bring your late-period works for us to admire. Prizes will be awarded for the most outrageous hat and codpiece. Brewers are invited to participate in a tasting. Lord Serric der Grimmage has consented to teach a class in judging libations, so be sure to bring something to taste! While no feast will be served, a selection of sweet and savory treats will be provided. Wine, beer, mead and cordials are permitted, but responsible consumption is strongly encouraged.|
Site Opens: 7 pm
