Event details
With the ground beginning to thaw and Spring approaching, the Borough of Fenmere prepares our May Day celebrations once again.  Join us on Sunday, the first of May, 2005 as we celebrate the coming of Spring.

Come frolic with us on the field as we celebrate the fertility of the season with the Green Man.  Be awed by the might and power of our fighters and the skill and precision of our fencers.

The Baronial Fencing and Heavy List championships will once again be held on the field on May Day.  These contests will be open to all Carolingians.  Please contact his excellency, Baron Jehan, if you have any questions regarding eligibility.

Details:  The site opens at 10:00 AM.  There will be fighting and fencing throughout the day.  After the tourneys are finished, the annual Green Man run will commence, followed by Court.

Jack the Black will be the fencing marshall.  Valerian will be the heavy-list marshall.

The site is dry and food will not be provided, although it can be purchased at several on-campus purveyors.  There is no site fee, though a $2 donation to defray costs is optional.  Merchants are welcome, but must contact the autocrat before the day of the event.  Tables can be provided upon request and must be requested before the day of the event.
Site Opens: 10 AM

From Route 20 in Watertown:  Continue down Route 20 past the large park in Waltham center.  Just after the old CVS and the pet store on your right the street will split in three directions.  Route 117 will be a slight left and South Street will be a hard left.  Make the left on to South Street, you should pass the Walgreens on your right.  Continue down South Street, Brandeis is on the right.

Sherman Function Hall is in Hassenfeld Conference Center upstairs from Sherman Dining Hall.  If you are walking north (uphill) from T-Lot (towards main campus), walk pass the big green building (Shapiro Campus Center).  Hassenfeld Conference Center will be immediately on your left after you pass the Campus Center (you will have passed it walking to Chapel's Field).  The function hall is the first room on the left.
