27th Bjorn's Ceilidh / Baronial Investiture **UPDATED**
(At-a-Glance Event Information)
Saturday, November 11th, 2006
Hosted by Barony of Concordia of the Snows - Albany, NY
Event Last Modified: October 26th, 2006
The Barony of Concordia of the Snows welcomes one and all to our 27th Bjorn's Ceilidh and the Baronial Investiture of our newly elected Baron and Baroness Angus and Laurencia. We will celebrate the coming of the Celtic New Year and the first court of Angus and Laurencia on November 11, 2006. The site opens at lOam and closes at 9:30pm.
We will feature our traditional games and contests from the rollicking sheep toss, haggis hurl and men & women's arm wrestling.
Their Royal Majesties Lucan and Yana will be holding a royal court, and you do not want to miss the last court of Their Excellencies, Baltasar & Lucia, which will follow. Then come and join the Barony of Concordia of the Snows as they welcome their new Baron and Baroness at their first Concordian court.
But wait - there's more! Travelers from all over the Knowne World have passed through Concordia and "left" us some quality items to barter off in our annual Ceilidh auction! Due to so much court activity, we are planning a silent auction this year.
There will be a simple side-board during the day, and following the first court of Angus and Laurencia, we will partake of a hearty feast!
