Greetings One and All
It is that time of year again for the Barony of Carillion to host Ghost, Ghouls, and Goblins.  Come and test your skills at our annual archery tournament that will test your ability's with the bow and skill that is needed to best the beastys that run amok in the barony at this time of year.

We will also be hosting our Baronial Champion's tournament for Heavy fighting, Fencing, Archery, A&S, Bardic and Thrown weapons.  Each tournament will be hosted by our current champion, who will have a special tournament for each event to test one's skills. 

The day will also be filled with events of all kinds for enjoyment for all who attend.  Pumpkin carving will also be hosted again by our barony for all who would like to participate.  (All children who participate will have to be accompanied by a legal guardian to participate)

Day board will be provided, along with feast.  The day board will be a delight for all to enjoy being designed and crafted by our own Baron Lord Cosmo of Carillion and Baroness Mistress Kis Maria.

Merchants are welcome to attend the event to sell your wears.  There is no merchant fee to sell at the event, but all other fees will apply.  (Site fee, camping, feast, etc.) Please contact the autocrat to reserve space inside the cabin and / or outside near the list fields.

As always, all are welcome to camp for the weekend and to enjoy the accommodations provided by Quill Hill and the Barony of Carillion.  If you or someone you are traveling with has any special needs, please contact the autocrat (Raffaela Mascolo – smjayne@gmail.com) to make the needed accommodations.  (This also pertains to any special needs with the food provided.)

Site Information:  The site opens at 6:00 pm on Friday October 22nd and will close at Noon on Sunday October 24th.  The site is bone dry.  No Liquid fuels are permitted, No flames shall be allowed in tents.  Community fire rings are available.

Site Fee:  Site fee:  $12.00 adult; $8.00 child.  Feast fee:  $10.00; child feast:  $6.00.  Camping fees:  Tent camping:  $5.00 per adult and $3.00 per child plus the site fee and Cabin camping:  $10.00 per adult and $8.00 per child plus the site fee.  If you are staying in the cabin you will need to provide something to put onto the bed springs to sleep on.  Space is very limited in the cabin, pre-registration is highly recommended.  For those who are interested in staying off-site:  there is the Holiday Inn (East Windsor 800-236-1465 or the Days Inn East (Windsor/Hightst to follow) own) 800-329-7466.  Non-member fee will be an additional $5.00 at the door.

Directions:

From the North and South find your best route to the New Jersey Turnpike (Interstate-95 a toll will apply).  Take exit #8 (Hightstown/Freehold) Route 33 – bear right onto Route 33 East for 6.2 miles.  Make a left turn using the jug handle to cross over Route 33 onto County Route 527A for .04 miles.  Turn right onto LaValley Drive. 

From the West, find your best route to Route 33 Westbound.  Turn right on Route 527A North after the Mobil station (sign posted on traffic light at intersection says 527/Iron Ore Road) for .04 miles.  Turn right on to LaValley Drive.

Lady Mairghread and Lady Amy Webbe 20 Pemperton Avenue Oceanport, NJ 07751.  Her email address is frayoch@gmail.com.  Please include your names, mundane and SCA of all members of your party, contact information for the person making the reservation, and membership information for each person included in the reservation.  Also please include which members of your party are minors and their ages.  Acceptable proof of membership includes a copy of your membership card, a current Pikestaff label with your name on it, or the proof of membership letter from the SCA website.  Children are welcome, but we ask you to please supervise your children at all times.  Anyone under the age of 18 who is not with a parent must be accompanied by an adult and must present a consent form signed by a parent which includes contact information for the parents.  If a minor does not have a blue SCA membership card, then a minor waiver signed by a parent/guardian must be presented at Troll.  Copies of the minor waiver form are available on-line at http://www.sca.org/docs/waivers.html and will be available at Troll as well.  If you require confirmation of receipt of your reservation, please include your email address and the Registration Clerk will let you know when she has received it.  Unclaimed feast reservations will be sold off to a waiting list, if there is one, when Troll closes at 4:00 pm.  If you plan on arriving late, please let the Reservation Clerk know in advance.
