Keepers of Athena's Thimble
The Keepers of Athena's Thimble is the Embroiderers' Guild of the East Kingdom of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. The guild provides an active forum for those involved in researching and creating embroidery as done in the pre-seventeenth century world.
East Kingdom Herbalists' and Apothecaries' Guild
Encouraging study, teaching and practice of medieval herb uses, as well
as study of medieval apothecary and pharmacy practice. A conduit for
herbalists and apothecaries in the kingdom to communicate with and learn
from each other, and to disseminate knowledge to others.
East Kingdom Soothsayers' Guild
The East Kingdom Soothsayers' Guild has been continuously active since A.S. XI. Its members explore and practice period techniques of divination.
East Kingdom Metalsmiths' Guild
The East Kingdom Metalsmiths' Guild is dedicated to the study and teaching of all the metalsmithing arts and sciences: blacksmithing, smelting, casting, working in various metals, jewelrymaking, glassblowing, glass lampworking (beads, etc.), and the like.
Worshipful Company of Narrowworkers of the East Kingdom
The Worshipful Company of Narrowworkers of the East Kingdom study all the narrow textile arts, including tablet weaving, fingerloop braiding, kumihimo, and other types of cord making.
Saint Bavon's Company of Falconry
Saint Bavon's Company of Falconry is an inter-kingdom falconry fellowship for those interested in studying medieval falconry, arts and practices.
