Site History

09/20/1995 - The Page shifted hands from William Atwoode to Aelfwine Akeworthe.

01/01/1997 - This site became the "Official" East Kingdom Web presence.

01/08/2000 - Responsibility for the page passed to Robin Gallowglass.

03/2000 - A more extensive face lift is made possible by the hard work of Shannon Gallowglass.

05/2000 - An even more extensive face lift is made possible by the continued hard work of Shannon Gallowglass.

09/2001 - Cleaned up some of the older pages that haven't been touched since January, 2000. Added a site map (finally!), as well as the ability to filter what events you see on the calendar. Tinkered with the backend some more to make it even easier to maintain the site.

10/2001 - East Kingdom Rapier Combat page relaunched with new features and functionality

11/10/2001 - Robin Gallowglass steps up from East Kingdom Web Minister to Society Electronic Publications Manager, and Ronan Lynceus takes over reponsibility of the site.

11/23/2003 - Ronan Lynceus steps up from East Kingdom Web Minister to Society Web Minister, and Robin Gallowglass takes over responsibility for the site once again.

01/03/2006 - Gabriel of Maccuswell takes over as East Kingdom Web Minister and spends most of his time tooling things behind the scenes.

09/2007 - Gavlinne created a site template and Gabriel integrated it into the dynamic page code, effecting the most drastic look and feel overhaul in years.

The People who have made this Page possible are:

William Atwoode (MKA Zachary Kessin zkessin@bedlham.com) was the original designer of this page and it was he who found space for its initial posting.

Aelfwine Akeworthe (MKA Donald O. Spragg Aelfwine@abacuswave.com) maintained the page from September 1995 until January 2000.

Lord Robin Gallowglass (MKA Dave Weiner <robin@gallowglass.org>) greatly improved and automated the site while maintaining it from January 2000 until November 2001. Robin wrested control of the site back from the upstart Ronan Lynceus at the end of 2003 by using a cunning subtrefuge that lured him away.

Máistreás Shannon Gallowglass (MKA Ann Golian-Weiner <shannon@gallowglass.org>) is Robin's Lady Wife and his able assistant in keeping the site fresh. Shannon's the one that makes the site look pretty. :)

Lord Ronan Lynceus (MKA Paul Lynch <lynceus@yahoo.com>) is currently used to be the person maintaining these pages. Originally Robin's "Drop Dead" deputy, Ronan seized control after a long drawn out siege. stepped up to Society Web Minister. He is responsible for a lot of the stuff that goes on behind the scenes for the site automation. Pay no attention to the men behind the curtain.

Sir Gabriel of Maccuswell did some site retooling and tinkering during his tenure.

Baroness Zanetta "Gavlinne" Angiolieri provided a complete new look and feel to the site to take advantage of modern browser capabilities.
