Event details
We're taking over Fort William Henry...pretty much literally..and we need your help.  Fort William Henry is the full-size authentic replica, on the original historic site, of the fort burned to the ground in 1757 during the French & Indian War, and made famous in the story, "Last of the Mohicans."
Who should come? It's a perfect place for sword & shield, rapier, thrown weapons, combat archery, Royal Foresters, siege engines, dancers, bards, A&S exhibits and displays.  In other words, nearly the works (sadly, no equestrian).  We can do anything the SCA permits, as long as we engage the public by showing them what we do and who we are.
Free overnight tenting outside the fort on Friday and Saturday nights.  Indoor plumbing during the day, portacastles at night -- and plenty of restaurants, it's a tourist town.  Plenty of tent space on the fort lawn.  And open camp fires are welcome.
Free all-day entry to the fort for re-creators/re-enactors during regular tour hours (10AM-7PM).
Saturday will be the main demo day -- there will also be re-enactors from the French & Indian War, American Revolution, and U.S.  Civil War, all of whom are anxious to meet us.
Site Opens: 10AM
Site Closes: 7PM
