Here upon the 4th of May, we draw the Kingdom to Its southern borders for a day of martial prowess, chivalry and honor.  Come join our King and Queen as they hold a Spring Crown Tournament to choose among the worthy, Their Successors!

Crown Tournament is being held in a 40 Thousand square foot covered Pavilion with open sides, a concrete surface, and easy access to restrooms and showers.  It is ADA accessible and has ample parking.  The site is “very discreetly damp”.  Well behaved leashed pets are allowed.  If you are traveling by car, please remember to bring chairs, as it is a primitive site.

***ACCOMODATIONS***

Local Crash Space:  For those interested in staying with a local, please reach out to Baroness Amarie de St Denis, who is coordinating our local crash space.  160449(at)members.eastkingdom.org

Camping:  There is space at the event site for both RV’s and tent camping.  For those who wish to camp, booking is done individually on the Delaware Fairgrounds Webpage.  The Code to use is "sca".  We will be located in “The Grove”, which is adjacent to the event site.  Camping is $37 per camp a night, and the site has full amenities.  (A nice wash house with showers, ice skating, and ice bumper cars).

For those interested in camping, please visit:  https://delawarestatefair.com/the-grounds/camping/
And choose "Nascar Camping"
Choose the number of nights you would like to stay and select "1 camper or RV".(We have permission to tent camp)
Camping for 1 tent containing up to 4 people is $35.00 with a $2.00 service fee.  It will show as $42.00 until you use the coupon code, "sca" just prior to check out.
(Please choose 30amp, if electric is not needed.)

***Please email the Event Steward at EllenShoshana(at)Gmail.com after booking a camping space to assist in recording numbers, reserving space, and recieving any additional information via email.  Happy camping!

Hotels and AirBnB:  there are MANY local Airbnb's, please take a look for those in the area.  The prices are better than many of the hotels.  Please be aware that extra travel time should be budgeted due to traffic congestion as this weekend is NASCAR weekend in Dover.  For this reason, hotels in the area are also quite full, and all who are coming to the event are very strongly encouraged to book early at local venues, or book online where rates are often better.

If you are flying into the Philadelphia Airport, please consider booking a room in the Christiana or Newark, Delaware area.  This is about an hour north of the event site, and will ensure that you do not encounter race traffic when leaving your hotel on Sunday to catch the plane home.
