Event details
Missing the mist covered mountains of home, St.  Andrew is making his long journey home for a visit.  When we last saw our great patron, he was visting the Paleo races of Sienna.  Now the hills are alive with the songs of St.  Andrew sung by shephards and farmers of the Alps as they prepare for the coming winter.  Don your best frocks and hosen and come on down to Das Estonian Haus to celebrate the next leg of St.  Andrew's journey.

Join us for a day of fighting as we choose our next Baronial Heavy List Champion.

Four weapons forms will be fought at St.  Andrews to show the prowess and weapons depth of the combatants.
*Sword and Buckler
*Two Sword
*Single sword.

Each weapon form will have a double elimination style tournament, and the winner of each weapons form shall be promoted to the final four.
Once a winner of a weapons form has secured his or her advancement in to the final four; they may enter other form lists but cannot advance again into the final four parring, the next highest combatant will advance.

The Semi Finals shall be all forms listed above except for single sword, best of 3 fights with rotating weapons to determine advancement to the finals.

The finals will be best of 5, with all four of the list forms and the addition of combatant’s choice for the 5th fight if it is necessary.

This tournament is open to all gentles but only a resident of An Dub can be named champion; if a gentle from outside of the barony wins the tournament they shall receive a prize and the Coronet shall choose a champion from among the eligible combatants.

In addition to our Armored Championship there will be a bardic competition, a photo booth, and youth activities.  More details will be posted soon.

Enjoy a sumptuous dayboard and delicious feast highlighting favorites from all over the alps including brats, sourbraten, and spaetzel.  Full menu forthcoming.

To all my most noble bards (and you, yes you), it is my pleasure to announce that at St.  Andrew’s in the venerable Barony of An Dubhaigeainn there shall be a Bardic competition to which the theme shall be HOME.

Home can be a humble cottage in the clearing of the woods, a tent among hundreds on a stormy field, or perhaps a snug little room in the bustle and din of a city; but wherever it may be one cannot deny that home is one’s castle that holds crucial memories be them sweet or bitter.  Let us share what home is to all of us.

Swallow your pride and check your dignity at the door as you will be expected to tell a story, sing, confer, converse, and otherwise hobnob about your homeland with its all glories, tragedies, loves, and losses alongside your fellow bards.  The winner of this prestigious competition will be selected by the populace via casting their votes into the Meadstealer’s famed and dreaded Tankard of Terror, once named they shall be showered with the love and adulation of their audience as well as a fabulous prize to take home.

In the event of a tie, there will be a sudden death determined by the applause of the people.

Let us give them a show that will be the envy of the Skalds in Valhalla!
