Missing the mist covered mountains of home, St.  Andrew is making his long journey home for a visit.  When we last saw our great patron, he was visting the Paleo races of Sienna.  Now the hills are alive with the songs of St.  Andrew sung by shephards and farmers of the Alps as they prepare for the coming winter.  Don your best frocks and hosen and come on down to Das Estonian Haus to celebrate the next leg of St.  Andrew's journey.

BARDIC COMPETITION:
To all my most noble bards (and you, yes you), it is my pleasure to announce that at St.  Andrew’s in the venerable Barony of An Dubhaigeainn there shall be a Bardic competition to which the theme shall be HOME.

Home can be a humble cottage in the clearing of the woods, a tent among hundreds on a stormy field, or perhaps a snug little room in the bustle and din of a city; but wherever it may be one cannot deny that home is one’s castle that holds crucial memories be them sweet or bitter.  Let us share what home is to all of us.

Swallow your pride and check your dignity at the door as you will be expected to tell a story, sing, confer, converse, and otherwise hobnob about your homeland with its all glories, tragedies, loves, and losses alongside your fellow bards.  The winner of this prestigious competition will be selected by the populace via casting their votes into the Meadstealer’s famed and dreaded Tankard of Terror, once named they shall be showered with the love and adulation of their audience as well as a fabulous prize to take home.

In the event of a tie, there will be a sudden death determined by the applause of the people.

Let us give them a show that will be the envy of the Skalds in Valhalla!

ARTS AND SCIENCES
After many years on the road, St.  Andrew has begun to make his way home.  The beauty of the Alps remind him of his beloved Scottish Highlands, truly there is no place like like home.

The theme for today is "Home".  Please help us build a beautiful Arts and Science display that celebrates the beauty, comfort, nostalgia, and love of your home.  Documentation, though encouraged is not required.
